It's 2026.  Hanukkah this year will be celebrated December 4th through the 12th. 

This fun and meaningful holiday is a 2000+ year old tradition for Jews around the world.    It's history and victory and dedication and miracles.   It's menorahs and dreidels and gelt and music and family and friends and fun!

For some, though, Hanukkah is drifting the way of Christian's Christmas.  Gifts, gifts, gifts and little thought for the meaning of the celebration.

Dr. Emily Aronoff, at reformjudaism.org wanted to get away from the Hanukkah gift parade with her kids, so she came up with this great list of ideas for things to do instead:
