recommend crayons, markers, colored pencils, soft pastels, watercolor
paints, acrylic paint, tempera paint, and Puff paint for a 3-D effect. Again,
alcohol-based markers (such as Sharpies) are NOT recommended.

Yes, to a point! Our thick paper supports alcohol-based markers and blending but if you are heavy handed we suggest putting a scrap piece of paper behind.
Will regular marker ink bleed through the thick paper?
No, not usually. Again beware of heavy amounts of ink.
